“My Cozy Apartment” is a web-based home decoration and personality quiz game inspired by my love for home decoration games. Users can decorate their apartments with 570 different item options. After decorating, the game curates personality results based on the items used to decorate the apartment and the most used colors. For each color, there is a short personality description based on researched color psychology as well as imaginative sentences generated from the specific items of that color.

Users preferred the game to use a snap to grid mechanism while the user is decorating rather than a freeform placement system (which required more attention to "perfecting" item placement). The grid enables a quick and casual decoration gameplay.

To give users the option of customizing their sound experience, they can toggle the background music and the sound effects independently by clicking the speakers in the top right corner.

Users wanted more buildup when receiving their personality quiz results. A fake loading screen was added and the music also changes when users finish decorating.
